Jem Jumble 2003

Note from the webmaster: while we decide how to represent what happened, I include the announcement, which contains 2 facts relevant for the archive:

We never disclosed the venue except to attendees, for reasons of security.
Vendor space was limited to 20. In the event, there were 8 vendors and about 40 buyers.

A "Jem Jumble" bring-and-buy

To be held on SUNDAY 19 October at 2:00 p.m.

Exact Central London venue will be disclosed with the purchase of a ticket.

We estimate we have space for 20 vendors, so please let us know your plans by mid-September. Vendors will be asked to pay £5 in addition to the normal entrance fee.

This bring-and-buy is not for professional vendors.

Neither attendees or vendors will be admitted without a prepaid ticket.

A fee of £5.00 will be charged to cover costs. Cheques should be made payable to "The Gemmological Association - south east branch" and mailed, together with a stamped, self-addressed envelope to: Colin Winter PO Box 250, Leatherhead, Surrey KT22 9WR. We will provide details of the venue on application.
